IW! Saanich Workers

The IW! Saanich inclusion workers are a diverse group that together have almost 20 years of experience working supporting people with disabilities. All IW! Saanich inclusion workers take on the roles of coordinator, support worker, job coach, social facilitator, and more to support all of IW! Saanich’s participants to be full citizens of their community.

VictoriaVictoria Saladana, Team Leader Victoria Joined InclusionWorks! Saanich in 2013 and has a CSEA certificate from Camosun College where she is also continuing her education with the goal of becoming a nurse.  Victoria is the InclusionWorks! Saanich Team Lead responsible for overall programming, communications with families, and continuously personalizing and improving supports.


katephotoKate Masters Coordinator and Support Worker Kate joined InclusionWorks! Saanich in December 2014.  She has a BSc in Psychology, and has worked for years as a Behaviour Interventionist for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.  Kate is also highly involved with her volunteer work as an Assistant Instructor at the Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association.  Her future career goals include completing a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, and teaching at a therapeutic riding establishment. 

myracropMyra Noviello  joined InclusionWorks! Saanich in August 2016. She has a social work diploma from Vancouver Island University and is currently in her 4th year of her Sociology degree from Simon Fraser University via distance education. She has volunteered as a student on a board of directors and worked in community living and social service agencies in the past.

Ryan Butler joined InclusionWorks! Saanich in December 2016.  Ryan is completing his Masters in Sociology and, in addition to his work with InclusionWorks! Saanich, he works supporting youth currently living in a residential setting.  Watch for a picture soon!

Kate Engert joined InclusionWorks! Saanich in December 2016.  Kate has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and an advanced certificate in Child and Youth Care.  She has worked as a community outreach counsellor, support worker, and summer outreach program coordinator. Watch for a picture soon!

We are also joined at various times by practicum students from both the University of Victoria and Camosun College.
